東映で働いていた時代、何度かアメリカのプロダクションからアニメの制作依頼が届いた。その際によく口論になったのがカメラについて。例えば背中なめの映像を日本では是とするが、アメリカでは否と考える。その根本的違いが日米のアニメーションにはある。
